Louisville Women’s Basketball was supposed to have their season opener Wednesday against Middle Tennessee. Unfortunately, it was just announced by the university that the game has been cancelled.

No reason was cited for the cancellation. According to the press release, which you can read by clicking the story in the tweet above, Coach Walz is looking for a replacement opponent for this game as well as for the Bellarmine game, which was cancelled last week.
