Louisville fans are tough. They are rabid and fiercely loyal. Above all, they defend and take care of their own. Whether a member of another fan base lashes out at a Card fan on social media or one falls on hard times, we generally take care of our own. Today, one of our own is in dire need of help.

Brittany Myers is a loving aunt of a wonderful niece named Lyla and nephew named Luke. She is also, of course, a die hard Card. She’s a season ticket holder for pretty much every major UofL sport and enjoys tailgating at football and taking her nephew to UofL baseball games. She was recently diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer and has begun the arduous task of chemo therapy. She’s fighting the terrible disease, but needs help financially while she battles.

Below is a tweet from Mid-Days With Marques Maybin cohost Steve Runmage. It provides a link to a Go Fund Me page where you can donate to lend Ms. Myers a helping hand in her time of need. Any little bit helps. With coronavirus ravaging our world, I know many can’t help because of lost income and are struggling themselves. However, if you can help, please do. Ms. Myers will be eternally grateful as will her family. So go ahead Card Nation and stand up and help one of our own. B1C4: Brittany Myers First, Cure Forever.
CARDS FANS! This link will take you to a go fund me for a great Cards fan @Bmyers13. Brittany recently found out she had stage 2 Cancer and is undergoing chemo before surgery. Let’s rally together and help take any financial burden away. Love CardNation! https://t.co/aITJugTvPp
