For Notre Dame, Juwan Durham led the way with 18 points and 6 rebounds. Prentice Hubb had 14 points, 4 rebounds and 6 assists. The Irish shot 37 percent from the field.
This was an important win for Louisville. They could not afford to take a bad loss after imploding on Saturday in Chapel Hill. Without David Johnson there was an opportunity for some guys to step up, and that’s exactly what happened.
