Louisville marched to a 6-0 lead after five innings, with four RBIs from Henry Davis — including a two-run homer in the fifth inning — to eventually take a 6-2 win over Eastern Kentucky. Davis finished 2-for-2 with four RBIs, one walk, one stolen base, and a home run. Levi Usher (1-for-3, SB, BB, RBI) and Cooper Bowman (1-for-4, RBI) also chipped in with RBIs.
On the mound, Louisville tallied 12 strikeouts and allowed just two runs on four hits, with Kaleb Corbett (2.0 IP, 1 H, 2 K) earning his first win. Luke Seed struck out six in two innings of work.
