#9 Louisville (9-4, 2-2 ACC) overcame an early 3-0 deficit to score four runs in the bottom second inning, eventually adding on three more runs to take a 7-3 victory over #13 Boston College (9-3, 2-2 ACC).
Cameron Masterman (1-for-3, HR, RBI) hit a home run in the bottom of the second to get Louisville on the scoreboard, after trailing 3-0 following the top of the inning. Louisville would eventually get three more runs; an RBI double by Lucas Dunn (2-for-2, two RBIs, 2B), a scored run off a wild pitch, and an RBI single from Cooper Bowman.
A bases loaded walk in the bottom fifth, followed by two more runs in the eighth, would give Louisville the insurance runs needed to secure the victory. Michael Kirian (5.0 IP, 6 H, 3 R, 7 K) earned his third win of the season, while Adam Elliott secured his first save of the season by pitching the final four innings in a shutout effort.
