Former Louisville men’s basketball forward Jordan Nwora earned his first NBA start on Saturday in the Milwaukee Bucks’ loss to the New York Knicks. Nwora had 21 points and 10 rebounds in 36 minutes of action. All-Star forwards Giannis Antetekounmpo and Khris Middleton both missed the game due to minor injury.

Nwora was selected 45th overall in the 2020 NBA draft by Milwaukee. He has appeared in 14 games during his rookie season, averaging 5.4 points and 2.0 rebounds.
The Bucks are among the deepest teams in the league and currently sit 3rd in the Eastern Conference standings. Nwora has not gotten much opportunity this season, but impressed in his first meaningful minutes on Saturday night despite the loss.
