The 5-foot-9 human highlight reel arrived to the program as an overlooked prospect (1397th-nationally; 247Sports) and leaves as a top-10 player at the position after only two-and-a-half seasons. Having improved as a pass-catcher in 2020 before his exit, Hawkins projects as an every-down type of running back at the next level. The path towards playing time may be an uphill battle, but that has never stopped him before.
Louisville RB Javian Hawkins is signing with the Falcons, per source.
