Card Nation, one of our very own needs our assistance. Your 2-time Gold medalist Payton Verhulst and her sister Ashton Verhulst are trying to raise funds for an amazing cause.
As many of you know, Epilepsy is a neurological disorder marked by sudden recurrent episodes of sensory disturbance, loss of consciousness, or convulsions associated with abnormal electrical activity in the brain (seizure). 1-in-26 people in the United States will develop epilepsy at some point in their lifetime.

What many of you don’t know is Payton’s youngest sister Addie was diagnosed with focal epilepsy at the age of 5. Addie’s life consisted of seizures and 1-on-1 attention. Fortunately for Addie, she was able to undergo brain surgery that removed brain tissues from the area of the brain where her seizures were occurring.
However, others are still in need and may not be so fortunate and that is why they are trying to raise funds for the Epilepsy Foundation of America. So, if you can and want to help, you can do so by clicking one of the links below.
