Louisville assistant men’s basketball coach Ross McMains and forward Matt Cross joined the media on Thursday afternoon to discuss the team’s season opening win over Southern University on Tuesday night and preview the Cards’ upcoming matchup with Furman on Friday night.
Cross scored 15 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in his Louisville regular season debut on Tuesday. He comes to the Ville by way of Miami (FL), where he appeared in 14 games last season as a freshman after signing with the Canes as a top-100 recruit in the class of 2020.
Louisville takes on Furman at 7:02 p.m. ET on Friday. It will be televised on ACC Network Extra, available on the ESPN App. Assistant Mike Pegues will continue to serve as acting head coach while Chris Mack serves his six game suspension.
