Louisville’s Malik Cunningham Named ACC Quarterback Of The Week

University of Louisville star Malik Cunningham was named the ACC Quarterback of the Week on Monday afternoon after huge performance last Thursday evening. Despite experiencing flu-like symptoms, the Cardinal signal-caller completed 18-of-25 passes for 303 yards and five touchdowns, while also rushing for 224 yards and two more scores. The performance marked only the second time in FBS history in which a player recorded 300 passing and 200 rushing yards in the same contest.

In his weekly press conference, Louisville Head Coach Scott Satterfield called Cunningham “the best dual-threat quarterback in the country.” In 11 games, he has scored 36 touchdowns combined, while racking up over 3,500 yards both through the air and on the ground.
