The Louisville men’s basketball team suffered another loss on the road Tuesday night in a 75-43 defeat to Virginia Tech in Blacksburg. The Cards are now 12-17 on the season and 6-13 in conference play. The Hokies improved to 19-11 and 11-8. This was Virginia Tech’s first win over Louisville since 1991, ending a 17-game streak.

Sydney Curry led all Cardinals with 18 points and 11 rebounds. El Ellis added 9 points. No other Louisville players scored more than 6 points. The Cards shot 36.2-percent from the field on Tuesday.
For Virginia Tech, Justyn Mutts led the way with 14 points, 6 assists, and 10 boards. Keve Aluma added 11 points and 4 rebounds. The Hokies shot 46.7-percent from the field and hit 12 threes in the 32 point victory.
