Jim Patterson Stadium is getting a facelift thanks to its namesake. Mr. Patterson has made a generous donation of $1 million which will be used to expand the entrance and the third base concourse.
The entrance will be expanded outward with with 6 new columns that will have arched entry ways in between. It should help with flow of traffic into the stadium. Meanwhile, The concourse will be widened to improve traffic flow of fans and allow for more concessions. All of these renovations should be completed in time for the 2023 Louisville baseball season.
