The fans got their first look at in-game action for the 2022-23 Men’s Basketball team on Sunday afternoon. The annual Red-White scrimmage was held for the first time under Head Coach Kenny Payne and the Red squad took home a 68-51 victory.
The red team was led in scoring by El Ellis and freshman Kamari Lands with 16 points each. JJ Traynor also chipped in 14. The White team was led by Sydney Curry, who scored 18 and had 10 rebounds. Freshman Fabio Basili also scored 11 points, with 9 rebounds.
The first exhibition will be held October 30th at 2pm against Lenoir-Rhyne.
