Post Game Notes:
The Cards improves to 4-1 and rebounds after the Gonzaga loss last night. Louisville will now face SDSU tomorrow. UofL only got 7 points from their bench, but they got a ton of effort and 9 big rebounds from the bench. Chrislyn Carr led the Cards with 19 points. Both Morgan Jones and HVL followed closely behind with 18 points each to help the Cards to victory. Hailey led the team with 6 rebounds. Coach Walz switched to a zone defense in the second half that really slowed down the Texas offense. The mixture of full-court and zone defense were the right ingredients for the win tonight.
Next Opponent:
Cards will take on South Dakota State at 5pm in the Battle 4 Atlantis.
