Jeff Brohm and his coaching staff had more than fireworks to help them celebrate this Independence Day. They managed to secure a commitment from 3 star DB Raemon Mosby out of Atlanta, Georgia.

Mosby is rated as the 76th-best CB in the 2024 class, and as the 926th-best in the class overall. The 6”0” 175 lb DB transferred to Westlake and had 19 tackles, multiple pass break ups, 1 fumble recovery, and 1 tackle for loss in 8 games last season. He chose the Cards over Duke, UNC, Cincinnati, Miami, Georgia Tech, Ole Miss, and Mississippi State among others.
In April, Mosby was a competitor at the Rivals Camp Series in Atlanta. After a successful camp, he was named the Defensive Back MVP for the event, beating out some impressive talent for the title.

Mosby credits his relationship with defensive backs coach Steve Ellis as what helped him feel comfortable about locking it in with Louisville. Ellis had been recruiting Mosby when he was still at East Carolina.
Louisville now holds a 13-man 2024 recruiting class, with Mosby becoming the 5th defensive player in the class. He joins TJ Capers, Jaiden Spearman, Jathan Hatch, and Trent Carter on that side of the ball.
