Coach Jeff Brohm and staff got some great news as they landed the commitment of 4 Star wide receiver Jojo Stone Jr just hours before kickoff. It was a nice surprise just before the Cards went out and smoked the Hokies.
Stone is listed at 5’11 and is the 34th-ranked player and a top 10 ATH in Georgia. Stone finished his senior year at Langston Hughes in Fairborn, GA where he had 53 yards and 1 touchdown, before an injury forced him to miss the remainder of the season. As a junior, Stone had 289 receiving yards and 4 touchdowns on 17 receptions while at Grayson High School in Georgia.
He de-committed from LSU on 10/17/2023. The long time LSU commit chose the Tigers over: Michigan, Oklahoma, UCF, Florida, and FSU just to name a few. He became the 15th commitment in the 2024 class for Louisville and the 4th 4 Star, joining QB- Deuce Adams, TE- Dylan Mesman, and DE- Xavier Porter.

He has great hands to go with an extremely high concentration level. The young man rarely ever drops passes. He routinely looks the ball into his hand regardless of who or what is going on around him. Stone also has unbelievable straight line speed and is quite capable of creating separation when he gets a step on a defender.
Jojo and his family are currently on an unofficial visit to Louisville. His father and other relatives live in Louisville, so he’s not a stranger to the city at all. Stone has previously made multiple visits to UofL during the offseason and continued to build a relationship with Coach Brohm and wide receiver’s coach Garrick McGee.
