
Welcome back everyone for another edition of This Week In Cardinal Athletics!
Volleyball (27-5):
Louisville Volleyball had their season unfortunately end a little too early on Saturday with a loss to Conference Rival Pittsburgh. The Cardinals jumped out 2-0 set lead and couldn’t keep it going in the last 3 sets as the Cardinals fell in Elite Eight of NCAA Volleyball Tournament. Louisville who’s one of the top blocking schools in the Country finished the match with 13. Anna DeBeer had 13 kills and 8 Blocks. Cara Cresse finsished with 9 kills, 5 Blocks, and an ace. The Panthers moved on to their 3rd straight Final Four.
#18 Women’s Basketball (9-1):

Men’s Basketball (4-5):
On Saturday the Cardinals fell to DePaul 75-68. The Cardinals only shot 40% from the field and 26% from 3 Point Range. After the game was tied at 20, DePaul went on 18-2 run to finish the half. The Cardinals got it down to within 6 at 53-47 at the 9:37 mark in the second half but just couldn’t get it going. Mike James led the Cardinals with 18 pts and Skyy Clark chipped in with 16 pts.
