Terrence Edwards Commits to Louisville

“Fatt” Edwards is coming off a career best season where he helped lead the best team in JMU Dukes history (32-4) past Wisconsin in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, pouring in 14 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, and a block.

On the year, Edwards averaged 17.2 points, 4.4 rebounds, 3.4 assist on 42.7% shooting (34.3% from three).

Alongside being named this year’s Sun Belt Player of the Year, Edwards made the 2023-24 Sun Belt 1st Team and Tournament Team.

Terrence Edwards’ had high success in the 2022-23 season as well, where he was named Sun Belt Sixth Man of the Year, All-Sun Belt Tournament, and All-Sun Belt 2nd Team.

TEJ excels at finishing at the rim, where nearly half of his field goal attempts come from (46%). He has a feel for the pick & pop/roll and knows exactly when to attack or dish to a teammate.

Terrence Edwards Jr. Highlights

Edwards shines as a secondary ball handler where he can spot up or drive and look to draw a foul. He led the Sun Belt in Free Throw attempts, 205 (15 more than 2nd), and Free Throws made, 166 (35 more than 2nd).

Coach Kelsey is looking for culture setters and Edwards seems to be cut from the cloth PK is searching for. He competes to the highest level every night and goes 100% between each whistle.
