The 6-11 220 pound forward joins the Cardinals as a grad transfer, where he has started 76 out of 102 games in his career. Noah started his career at Detroit Mercy before playing the last two seasons at BYU.
Waterman is coming off a career best season where he started all 33 games for the BYU Cougars, averaging 9.5 points, and 5.4 rebounds on 45.7 FG%, 37% from three.
Between his junior and senior season, Waterman’s game took a significant leap. His offensive numbers went from 4.6 ppg to 9.5 and 2.8 rpg to 5.4, while boosting his shooting percentage from 36.6% to 45.7%.
The Savannah, NY native thrives offensively in catch & shoot situations. Impressively, over half of Noah’s made shots came from three-point range, where he cashed in 37% from behind the arc in the ‘23-‘24 season (57-105).
To round out the month of January, the big-man caught fire in one of the toughest parts of the Cougars’ season :
W vs. #24 Iowa St. 34 minutes, 18 pts, 4 rebs, 3 asts, 1 blk. 4-12 (33.3%) 3-8 3PT (37.5%), 7-8 FT (87.5%)
