After taking a year hiatus, Louisville Live made its illustrious return, showcasing both Pat Kelsey and Jeff Walz’s rosters for the upcoming 2024-25 season.
3v3 with members from both the men’s and women’s team kicked off the event, where the Black Team brought home a 17-15 victory with Ja’leah Williams scoring the winning bucket. The game lasted two, 6-minute halves where an alumni member from each program was included as well (Stephan Van Treese suited up for the Black Team and Chelsie Hall for the Red).
Following 3v3, The teams took the floor for the 3-point contest where three members from the men’s and women’s team faced off. Sharp-shooting guard Reyne Smith took home the 3pt. Championship belt, where it came down to the final rack but Smith was able to edge out the victory after Waterman was only able to hit the moneyball on the last rack.
