The Louisville Men’s Basketball team opened its 2024-25 season with a win over Morehead State on Monday night at the KFC Yum! Center. The Cards beat the Eagles 93-45 in front of more than 12,000 fans at home.
Louisville went out and dominated a Division-1 opponent on Monday night. In the big picture that means nothing, but based on the last few years it is something that should be appreciated. We should learn in the next month or so just how good this team might be, but it seems pretty clear that there are many reasons to be excited about the 2024-25 Cards.

Louisville is back at home on Saturday for a noon mathcup with 12th ranked Tennessee. The game will be broadcast on ACC Network.
