LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville standout running back Isaac Brown has been named to two of Phil Steele’s prestigious 2025 Preseason All‑America teams in the latest edition of the College Football Preview magazine, while six others earn Preseason All-Atlantic Coast Conference honors.
Brown has earned second‑team distinction as an all‑purpose back and fourth‑team recognition at running back.
Wide receiver Caullin Lacy and linebacker Stanquan Clark were named first team Preseason All-ACC while wide receiver Chris Bell and defensive lineman Clev Lubin were tabbed to the third team. Linebacker T.J Quinn and defensive lineman were added to the fourth team.

The native of Homestead, Fla., amassed 1,173 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns, establishing a school record for the most rushing yards by a true freshman.
Brown led the Atlantic Coast Conference with 7.1 yards per carry while also ranking third in the league in rushing yards and fifth in rushing touchdowns . He totaled five 100-yard rushing games, including a career-high 178 yards in the regular-season win over Kentucky.
His breakout 2024 campaign included breaking Lamar Jackson’s true freshman rushing record at Louisville and earning distinction as both the ACC Offensive and Overall Rookie of the Year, as well as Freshman All‑American honors.
In addition to his national acclaim, Brown was selected for Phil Steele’s First‑Team Preseason All‑ACC squad.
The Cardinals will kick off the 2025 season on Aug. 30 against Eastern Kentucky at 3 p.m.
