The University of Louisville football team will take the field for the first game of the 2026 season on Sunday night in Nashville. Opposing them will be College Football Playoff Final Four participant Mississippi. The Cards will break out their all-white ensemble for this contest.
The classic white helmet with no stripe, red face mask, and the classic Cardinal bird head will be adorning the players’ heads. They’ll be wearing the white jerseys from last season with red, white, and black striping on the shoulders, and red letters and numerals outlined in black. The pants are the white pants with red and black striping running down the outside of each leg. The cleats and gloves are white with red accents and Adidas logos.
All white, with a splash of red. The Cards will flock to the field on Sunday night looking clean and looking to hand the Rebels a sound defeat.
