Brandon Radcliff
We here at Cardinal Sports Zone were able to get a last minute interview with a football commit right before signing day. Brandon Radcliff, a 3* running back from Miami, FL (Christopher Columbus HS), was gracious enough to take time out of his day and answer a few questions for us.

CSZ: What made you choose UofL?
Radcliff: The coaching staff is most of the reason why, but I felt like Louisville would be like home.
CSZ: Being in Miami, what do you and other local kids think when you see so many other Miami kids getting solid playing time at Louisville?
Radcliff: I played with these kids so if they can play and have success, I feel I could do the same.
CSZ: You seem like you run with an attitude, like you want to punish people. Who have you grown up watching and trying to pattern your game after?
Radcliff: To tell you the truth, I’ve never tried to fit myself into another running back’s style because every running back is different. So I guess I just did my own thing, but I do like Adrian Peterson.
CSZ: What do you think about the city of Louisville and Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium?
Radcliff: I love the city of Louisville; I can’t wait to get back. And the stadium, I can’t even describe how great that stadium is. I have flashbacks of when I was there.
CSZ: Any idea what you want to major in at UofL?
Radcliff: I want to major in business. I have a few things I want to do with that, but not anything solid at the moment.
CSZ: What do you think about Coach Strong?
Radcliff: Coach Strong is a father figure first, then a coach. I think that’s why everyone loves him so much.
CSZ: What can Cardinal fans expect from you?
Radcliff: A hard-working, hard-running guy and someone that doesn’t like to lose.
CSZ: We thank Brandon for taking time to talk with us. We look forward to him signing with the Cardinals and being a great running back here in the next few years. Check out this video of him, and you will know why we can’t wait to see him on the field!
