Jeremy– Thanks for taking the time out to talk to us here at Cardinalsportszone.com Jalen…First question. What are your top 5 schools?

Jalen– You are welcome..my top 5 in no order are UL, Tennessee, Ga Tech, Ole Miss, & Vandy

Jeremy– What do you think of the job Charlie Strong has done in such a short time at Louisville?

Jalen– I think he has done a great job and created a lot of positive buzz around a program that was down for a while.

Jeremy– Are you a Louisville fan? What do they bring to the table that says that you fit in perfect here?

Jalen-I am a Louisville fan. They bring that comfort factor because I’m familiar with the city and my dad is there.

Jeremy– Your dad is the Louisville Legend…the icon Marques Maybin…What has he said about Louisville and what has he said in general about your recruitment?

Jalen– He has just told me about the pros and cons of Louisville, but he just wants me to make the best decision for me and my future.

Jeremy– Ok fair enough. Follow up question, does your dad’s ties with Louisville give UL any edge?

Jalen– Yes a slight edge.

Jeremy– What position do you see yourself playing at the next level?

Jalen– It all depends on where I go. But most likely a linebacker or a safety.

Jeremy– When will you make your decision?

Jalen– I will make my decision sometime in early August.

Jeremy– Last Question: Why does CardNation want, better yet need Jalen Reeves-Maybin?

Jalen– Because I bring a lot of versatility to the team and two Maybins are better than one lol.
