Over the last 5 games, former Card Earl Clark has taken advantage of getting some unexpected playing time. Pau Gasol has been out with a concussion, but could return Thursday when the Lakers face the Heat.
In those 5 games, Clark averaged 11.2 points, 10 rebounds, and 3.4 assists in 29.2 minutes per game. So yes, Clark has averaged a double-double. In his best game, Clark had 22 points and 13 rebounds against the Spurs.
Even with Gasol coming back, hopefully Clark has earned himself a spot in the Lakers’ rotation. It has been good to see him get valuable minutes and make the most of it, and we will continue to keep an eye out on his playing time!
