Former Louisville golf star, Adam Hadwin, is appearing in his second majors championship this weekend at the 2013 U.S. Open Championship.
Adam Hadwin was one of three co-medallists after going nine under through 36 holes in the U.S. Open sectional qualifying at Woodmont Country Club in Rockville, Md. His performance earned him a ticket to play at Merion Golf Club in Pennsylvania for the 113th U.S. Open Championship.
Hadwin’s first majors championship appearance was in the 2011 U.S. Open at Congressional Country Club outside of Washington, DC. Finishing tied for 39th, he was the top Canadian at the championship.
Adam is back at the Open this year competing with some of the best in the sport such as Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy and Phil Mickelson.
Hadwin tees off at 6:01pm. Live coverage is on ESPN until 3pm when it switches over to NBC (WAVE 3).
