*First and foremost, we want to send our thoughts and prayers to Luke Hancock and his family. Luke’s dad, Bill, lost his battle with cancer and passed away on Monday. Bill was able to make the trip to the Big East Tournament as well as the Final Four in Atlanta. Here is a photo of the Hancock family in Atlanta.
*The men’s basketball team will be attending the ESPY’s this year.
*In a scrimmage for Team USA’s U-19 team against the Czech Republic, Montrezl Harrell had 13 points on 6-6 shooting, 6 rebounds, and 2 steals. USA won 97-51.

So far, that is 5 announced kickoff times, and only 1 is at noon. With this schedule, the more we can avoid the nooners, the better. The nation will need to see us play, not just see the scores of our games. So these ESPN time slots are a big deal.
*Here are some Quentin Snider highlights from the NBPA Top 100 Camp.
*The NBA Draft is this Thursday at 7:30 pm on ESPN. There are plenty of mock drafts out there to check out. Most have Gorgui going anywhere between 12-24, and Peyton Siva could go sometime in the 2nd round. Either way, they are still National Champions, so that is pretty cool if you are into that sort of thing.
*Charlie Strong got a pretty big commitment from a 4 star running back. He had an offer from Alabama (and many more). He chose the Cards. I feel like I need to go play Twister or something.
*Here is an updated list of UofL’s 2014 football commits, with their ratings from the 4 major websites, and some of their other offers.
*Louisville Baseball has 20 players competing in 4 different summer leagues, as well as Team USA. Not bad.
*BleacherReport did a “study” and ranked the Top 25 best dressed coaches in College Football. Our leader, Charlie Strong, came in at #12 on the list. Here is what they said:
“Louisville head coach Charlie Strong is a big dude. He wears clothes baggy enough to fit two people in, but he pulls it off quite well. The black pants are something not a lot of other coaches are willing to try, and the long-sleeved shirt he wears is something between a sweater and Under Armour. It’s certainly one of the more distinct wardrobes on the list.”
