One of the reasons that this game is so big for Louisville is the location. To have a bowl game in Florida is awesome when you recruit that state so much. You can have recruits come watch your team in person without having to bring them up for an official visit. So it is like a bonus visit for those guys.Ā Louisville will have a few commits from the class of 2014 in attendance, as well as a former commit who flipped to Miami.

Wide receivers George Rushing and Desean Blair, along with quarterback Reggie Bonnafon, will all be at the game. Rushing and Blair are from Florida so this is an easy trip for them. Of course Bonnafon is from Louisville, so following his hometown team is not a big surprise either. Rushing said “My prediction for the game is 36-24 Louisville wins.”

Desean Blair is from Jacksonville, FL and at 6’4 will bring great size to the position for the Cards. He said “I’m really excited to be going to the game and supporting my future University. I feel like we have this in the bag but Miami is still a very good program. I am meeting up with Reggie Bonnafon and George Rushing who are fellow commits, and former commit (now Miami commit) Marques Gayot.”

Reggie Bonnafon said “Yeah I think we will come out ready to play and come out with the win! It’s pretty exciting being down here because I’m so close to being apart of this program and I’m just ready to keep things rolling if I get the opportunity.”

Another Louisville commit that will not be at the game weighed in with his prediction for the game:

Nilijah Ballew (safety from Cincinnati, OH): “Louisville wins 41-10 because I think Teddy is gonna go hard for maybe his last collegiate game. And the Cards defense is gonna destroy Miami like they did Florida in the Sugar Bowl.”
