Isaiah Ford

Regardless of what class of football you play in, if you are the Player of the Year in high school football in Florida, you are doing something right. Louisville commit Isaiah Ford was named the Class 3A Player of the Year and is a finalist for Mr. Football for the whole state. There are 8 finalists, 1 from each class. Ford finished the season with 37 catches for 719 yards and 12 touchdowns and he accounted for 1,067 all-purpose yards and 17 touchdowns. Virginia Tech is trying to make a late push to land Ford, but it sounds like Louisville should be able to hold onto him, and he will likely be a big-time playmaker for the Cards. Look for this 2-sport athlete to also try to play basketball for Coach Pitino.
