On Saturday January 18, 2014, the 89th East-West Shrine Game will take place in St. Petersburg, Florida at Tropicana Field. That is fitting because two former Louisville Cardinals who played their first bowl game on that very field will take part in this game for the East: Hakeem Smith and Preston Brown.
Hakeem Smith finished his career at Louisville with 290 total tackles, 4 interceptions, 22 pass deflections, 5 forced fumbles, and 2 sacks. He played in every single game from 2010-2013 for the Cards.
Preston Brown finished his career with 301 total tackles, 7 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, and 1 interception. He also played in every single game from 2010-2013.
The game can be seen on the NFL Network and it starts at 4:00 p.m. ET.
This design is spectacular! You obviously know how to keep a
reader amused. Between your wit and your videos, I was almost
moved to start my own blog (well, almost…HaHa!) Great job.
I really enjoyed what you had to say, and more than that, how you presented it.
Too cool!
