Errors were too much for Louisville today as the Cards lose 4-1 and are eliminated from the College World Series. The Cards matched a season high 4 errors during the game including one by the normally unshakable Nick Burdi. It may as well been called NOmaha because the Cards just couldn’t get a lot going while they were there. Hats off to Texas for stealing our football coach this season then taking our soul in the CWS. Louisville finished the season with 50 wins and made it to their 3rd CWS (07,13,14) since Dan McDonnells inaugural season in 2007. Still a great season for the Cards and with the majority of the team coming back for our first season in the ACC, it’s gonna be a blast. Thanks to @UofLBaseball for another great season.
