It is always a good insight into the team when former players (weird to type that about Russ) chime in about the current team. Russ Smith has made a couple of predictions on twitter in the last day or so regarding the Cards and a couple members of the backcourt.

I think we are all excited to see what kind of season that Terry Rozier will have. The sophomore had a very solid season last year, and after a full off-season of workouts and knowing what is expected, he could be in for a monster season.
The transition from high school to college ball isn’t always easy for everyone, and Anton Gill was an example of that. Now that he has had a full season of work under Rick Pitino, he could be primed to make an impact as a sophomore this season. I think we know that the talent has always been there. It is just a matter of grasping some of the concepts and locking in on defense that kept Gill off the floor last year. Hopefully Russ knows what he is saying here.
Would you bet against what Russ says???
