On Wednesday afternoon, Sporting News released their All-ACC first team, and two Louisville Cardinals made the list. Wide receiver DeVante Parker and cornerback Charles Gaines were both put on the first team.
Here is what they said about each player:
DeVante Parker
The 6’3 senior has the size and experience to replicate his 885 yards and 12 touchdowns from last season even if he doesn’t have Teddy Bridgewater throwing him the ball.
Charles Gaines
Gaines converted from receiver to cornerback in 2013 and handled the position like a veteran, thanks to impressive speed. His five interceptions were tied for third in the ACC.
