Myles Washington, a running back from New Orleans (John Curtis High School) visited UofL on Tuesday and came away very impressed. “The visit was great,” Washington told CSZ. “They (Louisville) are definitely at the top.” Although Washington is only rated as a 2-star player, that is thought to be a little misleading because he plays two positions. In high school, he plays running back and quarterback. If he played only running back, he may be considered a 3-star.
Washington says that Louisville is recruiting him as mainly a running back, but also as a defensive back. He says “they said I fit into their offense very well.” He said what stood out to him the most was “the stadium and the dorm rooms. I really felt comfortable with the coaching staff.” He has the best connection with offensive coordinator Garrick McGee. “He’s the one that recruited me and offered me. He showed the most love and the most interest in getting me.”
As far as when he plans to commit somewhere, Washington says that won’t happen until late September or October. But going back to the Louisville visit, he says “It was a great visit and I’m blessed to have had the opportunity to do that.”
