According to this European basketball website, former Louisville Cardinal Luke Hancock could be signing with a team in Greece. The team is called Panionios ON Telecoms Athens. Rolls right off the tongue.
There is a familiar name on the roster of that team, and that is Tony Woods. Woods is the former Wake Forest player who almost ended up at Louisville after a domestic dispute while at Wake Forest. He ultimately ended up at Oregon, and played on the team that the Cards eliminated in Indianapolis in the Sweet 16 on their way to the National Championship in 2012-13.
Hancock was recently waived by the Memphis Grizzlies.
