Just a few press releases I wanted to catch you guys up on but mostly so I don’t have to post 3 different ones. lol. Here we go:

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville women’s basketball head coach Jeff Walz’s radio show, airing throughout the season from Chili’s Grill & Bar locations in the Louisville area, is scheduled to begin on Nov. 12. Presented by Chili’s Grill & Bar, the first seven shows take place at the restaurant’s Brownsboro Crossing location (9720 Von Allmen Court), and the final five will be held at the Hikes Lane establishment (3623 Bardstown Road). All shows run from 7-8 p.m. Louisville’s mascot, Louie the Cardinal, will be making appearances at Chili’s Grill & Bar for four selected shows: Nov. 18, Jan. 20, Feb. 4, and Feb. 24. No reservations will be taken at either location. All seating is first come, first served, starting at 5:30 p.m. on the day of the show. Matt Andrews, Louisville women’s basketball’s play-by-play voice, will host the show and discuss with Walz recent games and the upcoming slate. For fans unable to attend, ESPN Radio 680 will carry each show as well as stream it online through ESPNLouisville.com. It also can be heard through CardsTV on GoCards.com. GREENSBORO, N.C. (theACC.com) – Louisville sophomore Matthias Lindenbauer and teammate Tanja Kylliainen helped the Cardinals capture two ACC Swimming and Diving weekly awards, as each turned in solid performances against Cincinnati this past weekend. Louisville’s Lindenbauer, who earned ACC Male Swimmer of the Week honors, was sensational in the Cardinals win over Cincinnati, finishing first in two individual events and one relay. The Dortmund, Germany, native finished first in the 200 free with a time of 1:38.81 and took home the 500 free with a time of 4:34.81. In the 200 free relay, Lindenbauer posted a split time of 20.41 as the Cardinals took first place. Louisville’s Kylliainen grabbed ACC Female Swimmer of the Week after a strong showing against the Bearcats. Kylliainen finished first in two individual races and combined to win a relay, finishing the meet as the top scorer for the Cardinals. In the grueling 1650 free, Kylliainen touched in 16:38.00 after leading wire-to-wire. In the 400 IM, she emerged victorious with an NCAA B-cut time of 4:13.64. As part of the winning 200 medley relay squad, she recorded a split time of 26.03.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville athletics department announced Tuesday family friendly offers and single-game ticket promotions for the Cardinals’ women’s basketball team’s inaugural season in the Atlantic Coast Conference.

Louisville is scheduled to play 17 regular-season home games, eight against ACC schools, in the KFC Yum! Center during the 2014-15 campaign. The Cardinals’ nonconference slate at home includes contests against Iowa and Kentucky.

All ticket options including individual and mini-plan packages are now available through the Louisville Cardinals Ticket Office.

Reserved season tickets remain available, including the Baseline Four-Pack of four reserved season tickets for $238. Season-ticket holders enjoy exclusive benefits, including savings of more than 40 percent off single-game pricing, convenience, access to special events, and purchase priority. New this season, the Cardinals are offering a “Sunday Fun Day Plan” that includes the final five Sunday home games for just $40. With a savings of 20 percent from the individual game price, the mini-plan begins with the in-state battle against Kentucky (Dec. 7) followed by ACC matchups with Virginia (Jan. 18), Miami (Jan. 25), Pittsburgh (Feb. 8), and North Carolina (Feb. 15)

Louisville will host “Holiday Hoops” games, which fans can purchase a lower level reserved ticket for just $5 when the Cardinals play Lafayette (Nov. 28) and Evansville (Dec. 29).

On three occasions this winter, men’s basketball ticket holders can receive a $5 lower level reserved ticket to a women’s basketball showcase game by presenting their ticket stub during a “Cardinals Weekend.” This offer includes games on Nov. 23 vs. Ball State (men’s basketball vs. Marshall on Nov. 21), Jan. 18 vs. Virginia (men’s basketball vs. Duke on Jan. 17), and Feb. 15 vs. North Carolina (men’s basketball vs. NC State on Feb. 14).

For the fifth-consecutive season, Louisville will participate in the NCAA’s “Pack the House” initiative. This year’s “Pack the House” game will be on Sunday, Dec. 7, as the Cardinals fight for bragging rights in the Battle of the Bluegrass. Fans who show their Kroger Plus Card at either ticket office location can receive a $2 reserved ticket for the game, and all fans are encouraged to wear red.

The Cardinals will celebrate several special events during the season beginning with their annual partnership with the American Heart Association when Louisville takes on Ball State. The doors to the KFC Yum! Center will open at noon on Nov. 23 for the Healthy Family Training Camp.

Raising awareness for breast cancer, Louisville will play its annual Play4Kay Pink Game on Sunday, Feb. 15, against North Carolina in a nationally televised game on ESPN2. Additional special events include Spirit Day (Jan. 18), Louie’s Birthday Party (Jan. 25), National Girls and Women in Sports Day (Feb. 8), and Native American Heritage Night (Feb. 26).

Louisville once again offers special concession deals throughout the season, including “Thirsty Thursdays.” During all four Thursday home games this season select draft beer and small Pepsi products are only $2 each.

Individual game prices this season are: $10 for adult for lower-level seating; $8 for senior citizens for lower-level seating; and $6 for youth for lower-level seating. All Louisville students receive free admission.

Louisville has been a leader among Division I women’s basketball programs in average home attendance, finishing in the top three in the nation in each of the last four seasons. The Cardinals averaged 9,469 fans per home game last season, marking the fourth straight season in the KFC Yum! Center of over 130,000 total women’s basketball fans.
