For the third weekend in a row, Bobby Petrino and his staff are hosting some impressive recruits on campus. There aren’t as many this weekend when it comes to quantity, but the quality sure is there. Let’s take a look at who will be in town this weekend.

*Like always, the “four recruiting sites” are Rivals, Scout, 247, and ESPN*

Tim Settle – Defensive Tackle from Manassas, Virginia. He is a 5-star prospect on ESPN and a 4-star on the other three sites. He is listed at 6’2 or 6’3 and anywhere between 300 and 339 lbs depending on what site you look at. Either way, this guy is massive and is one of the top players in the country at his position. ESPN ranks him as the 4th best defensive tackle in the country.

Sometimes I like to look at the offers to see what others schools are interested. That can tell you how good a kid really is. Here are some of Settle’s offers: Alabama, Florida State, Auburn, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Georgia, Mississippi State, Florida, Michigan, Miami, Texas, Clemson, LSU, Oklahoma, USC, Penn State, Tennessee, Oklahoma State, Virginia Tech, Washington State, Wisconsin, and many more. Geez.

Justin Sandifer (JUCO) – Offensive Lineman from Raymond, Mississippi (Hinds Community College). He is looking to enroll in January and the Cards are thought to be the leader. He also holds offers from Georgia, Florida, and Mississippi State. He is listed at 6’4 and 310 lbs. Sandifer will have three years of eligibility remaining wherever he goes.

Drew Bailey (JUCO) – Defensive End from Atlanta, Georgia. He plays for Pearl River Community College in Mississippi. Listed at 6’5 and 282 lbs. He is also expected to enroll in January wherever he goes. He has taken official visits to Maryland, NC State, and Fresno State. Louisville put themselves in a good position with him this past week when Coach Grantham visited Bailey and Coach Petrino visited his dad.

Still working to confirm if Bailey uses the Pearl River Plunge to get to the quarterback…
