If you haven’t seen it by now, here is video of Montrezl Harrell in the locker room after the UNC Wilmington game. Trez pretty much lays it all out there and says that the team was not prepared to play and guys were not taking things seriously for this game. He said that there is no time for egos and that when you step onto the court, leave all of your off the court problems somewhere else.
I, for one, have absolutely no problem with him saying this stuff. Some people may not like that he said it to the media, but maybe he has said all of this stuff in the locker room before and it didn’t sink in and he is just frustrated now. Between Montrezl and Coach Pitino, I doubt that focus will be an issue this week at practice.
