A few days ago, I posted Michael Dyer’s results from the NFL Combine in the tests he participated in. This one is a little different. This will show his measurements and the analysis on him from NFL.com. It also gives his grade, and what that number means as a projection for him as a pro.
Height: 5’8″
Arm Length: 30 5/8″
Weight: 218 lbs
Hands: 9 1/2″
Analysis from NFL.com
STRENGTHS
Has experience in pro-style sets. Willing to keep his running track between the tackles. Not a physical runner, but has enough leg strength to break open-field-tackle attempts near his legs.
WEAKNESSES
Primarily gets what is blocked for him. Tight-hipped with limited change of direction and open-field shake. Lacks suddenness and creativity as a runner when line of scrimmage gets crowded.

BOTTOM LINE
Productive college runner who gives a good, honest effort each time out, but he’s dependent upon scheme and strong blocking to help him get yardage. Dyer lacks the athleticism and speed to be an explosive NFL threat and, with very little on his resume as a pass-catcher, making a roster could be a challenge.
Grade from NFL.com
4.9 – Should be in an NFL training camp
