Notes from Chris Jones’ appearance in court…
*Chris Jones just made his appearance in court for the charges of rape and sodomy and his plea was not guilty.
*The Judge released Jones to home incarceration.
*An attorney for Jones said that he has recently withdrawn from classes at the University of Louisville to put all of his focus on defending himself in this case.
*The attorney also said that Jones is living in a hotel and will have an apartment in the next couple of days.
*The Judge ordered that Jones have no contact with the co-defendants or the victims.
*Jones’ attorney went on to say that there is a video outside in the hallway that will be evidence in favor of Jones.
*Outside of the courtroom, Scott Cox, the main attorney for Jones, said “He’s been falsely accused.”
*UofL will hold a news conference at 11:30 a.m. to address the charges on Chris Jones.
