Markelle Fultz is a 6’4 shooting guard in the class of 2016 from Hyattsville, Maryland and now has an offer from the Louisville Cardinals. Fultz is rated as a 4-star player on all four major recruiting sites: Rivals, Scout, 247, and ESPN.
Rivals has him as the 25th best player in the class. Scout has him as the 35th best in the class and the 6th best shooting guard. 247 has him as the 35th best player and the 5th best combo guard. ESPN has him as the 55th best player and the 12th best shooting guard. Those rankings will always be a little different on each site, but it is pretty clear that Fultz is a great player in the 2016 class.
He also has offers from the likes of Arizona, Kansas, Virginia, Georgetown, and more. His profile on 247 Sports shows that he also has interest from Kentucky. In fact, his “crystal ball” shows 33% each for Kentucky, Arizona, and Kansas. However, only one school on his list is listed as “warm” and that is Louisville. Everyone else is “cool.”
Oh and it looks like Fultz will be in town soon!
