There is literally never a dull moment or a “slow time” in the world of UofL sports. Sure, basketball and football are off right now, but baseball is having an incredible season. And now, three fall sports have released their schedules for the 2015 season.

Volleyball

“It’s a tough schedule with more than half of our matches against programs that advanced to the NCAA tournament last year. We begin the season with one of the toughest non-conference schedules in the country and then head in to a highly competitive ACC conference,” said head coach Anne Kordes.

Men’s Soccer

“The strength of the 2015 schedule sets us up for success and prepares us well for post season play. In addition to the competition in the ACC, 10 of the 17 teams were in last year’s NCAA tournament,” said Louisville head coach Ken Lolla. “Our home schedule is great for our fans as it allows us to host some exciting and provocative opponents at Lynn Stadium. The support in the first year at Lynn was outstanding as we ranked second nationally in attendance. Our hope is that this year, we take the top spot and that Dr. Mark and Cindy Lynn Stadium sets the standard for college soccer attendance across the nation.”

Women’s Soccer

“Our 2015 schedule is once again very challenging,” said head coach Karen Ferguson-Dayes. “We pride ourselves on playing a tremendous nonconference schedule as we feel it helps prepare us for the rigors of the very prestigious ACC Conference as well as the NCAA Tournament. We have an amazing 10 game ACC schedule featuring a stretch in October where we will host UNC, Duke and defending National Champion Florida State, all at Lynn Stadium- the nicest college soccer facility in the country. Our first year in the ACC allowed us to gain valuable experience that we will look to build on in 2015. We are excited for the challenges that we will face.”
