V.J. King is a 6’7 small forward in the class of 2016. He visited the Cards last weekend and by all accounts, it sounds like the visit went well and that UofL is in a great spot with him. He recently narrowed his choices down to five: Louisville, Kentucky, UConn, Arizona, and Virginia.
One reason that Louisville is in such a good spot with King is Kenny Johnson. Johnson once coached King’s current high school, Paul VI, and King plays for Johnson’s former AAU team, Team Takeover.
This isn’t a post that is saying he is committed, but just that it’s worth knowing a little more about him if you are a Cards fan. So let’s take a look at where V.J. King is ranked on the four major recruiting sites.
