The University of Louisville has started a new video series this off-season titled “The Red Zone” where they let you get to know a particular player. The series kicks off with linebacker James Burgess, who seems like a really nice young man and I honestly can’t believe he is already a senior.
I don’t remember how too many kids commit to Louisville, but I do remember that when Burgess did it, it was awesome. He held up the sign for “The U” like he was going to Miami, and then lowered his left hand and kept his right hand up, turning it into the Louisville “L”.
I look for Burgess to have a huge season for the Cards, anchoring one of the strengths of the team, and that is the linebacker position.
