If there is anyone that used the workouts with NBA teams to improve his draft stock, it was Terry Rozier. Thought to be a second rounder, Rozier worked his way up in the months leading up to the draft to maybe the mid-late 20s in the first round. He impressed the Boston Celtics even more than that, as they took him with the 16th pick overall.

Grousbeck on 16th pick: "We've targeted Rozier. He worked out for us twice. He's an athletic freak, a skilled two-way player." #CelticsDraft

Stevens on Rozier: "He's a favorite of Danny's. We think he's a really special talent. I'm excited about Terry. You'll enjoy watching him."

In true Terry Rozier fashion (I guess?), Rozier jumped into the pool with his suit on after getting picked.

Rozier is the highest Louisville Cardinals player to be drafted since Terrence Williams in 2009, who went 11th. He joins a very crowded backcourt in Boston, who drafted three guards last night. They have 19 players listed on the roster right now, which will obviously change with free agency and guys trying to make the team in general. Of the 19 players, 10 are either point guard or shooting guard. Terry will have to step it up even more to make a name for himself in that kind of crowd.
