In not-so-shocking news, class of 2016 4-star wide receiver Desmond Fitzpatrick decommitted from the Louisville Cardinals on Sunday evening. Sometimes, the writing is just on the wall in these kinds of situations. Now I am not going to sit here and say “If you didn’t see this coming, you are dumb and weren’t paying attention.” I will leave that kind of attitude for others. Informing you is what we are here for, and that is all I am doing.
Anyways, Fitzpatrick clearly had a good time on his recent visit to Nebraska. I’m not saying that is where he will end up, but seeing everything he tweeted or retweeted after that visit made it pretty clear that the trip there made him think about some things.
In any instance, we wish Fitzpatrick the best of luck in the future. His tweet about opening up his recruitment makes it easy to still want to root for him wherever he ends up.
