Mark Schlabach of ESPN.com ranked all of the bowls from 1-40 in terms of entertainment value. That’s right, there are FORTY bowl games. If your team didn’t make it, will they ever?

Anyway, the Music City Bowl comes in at #17 on the list. Here is what he says about the game…

17. Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl

Texas A&M vs. Louisville

Both teams underachieved this season, but the Cardinals have been better down the stretch, having won five of their last six games. Louisville can finish with back-to-back wins over SEC opponents, a feat the Aggies accomplished only once this season.

For what it’s worth, David Hale of ESPN.com ranked the ACC Bowl games, and put this one 4th in the conference.

4. Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl: Louisville vs. Texas A&M

The SEC continues to shrug off ACC success against the East, so a win by Louisville against one of the better teams in the West would carry far more weight when the conference vs. conference debates begin again next year.
