I have no idea what is going on in College Station, but it doesn’t appear to be good if you are a quarterback with the letters “K-Y-L-E” in your name. Just a week ago, it was announced that starting QB Kyle Allen would be leaving and not playing in the Music City Bowl. That meant that the next man up was freshman Kyler Murray, right?
According to Billy Liucci of TexAgs.com, Murray intends to transfer.
Per multiple sources, Kyler Murray's intention as of one hour ago and following a meeting with Kevin Sumlin was to transfer from A&M

Since that time, I've been told the Aggies have been in the process of attempting to change Murray's mind and keep him in College Station

No Kyler Murray yet as players file in but, based on what I'm hearing, would come as surprise if he doesn't participate in practice

Sam Khan Jr., a writer for ESPN.com, said the following:
QB Kyler Murray not present at Texas A&M practice today. A&M spokesman says Kevin Sumlin told Murray to stay home today since it’s a short day (last day of final exams at A&M). Sumlin will address media after practice. Murray and his father, Kevin Murray, met with Sumlin on Tuesday.
What I do know is Kyler Murray & his father, Kevin Murray, met w/Kevin Sumlin on Tuesday. I know they haven’t been thrilled with how Kyler was used this season. Obviously, there’s a lot of uncertainty there, even a week after Kyle Allen — who started nine games ahead of Kyler Murray — decided last week to transfer. If Murray jumps ship, the Aggies are left with only one scholarship QB, junior college transfer Jake Hubenak, who has zero FBS starts.
Weird. Go Cards!
