Today there were reports that boosters and the athletic department at the University of Tennessee were setting their sights on Jeff Walz as their next head Basketball Coach. 2 problems there. 1) They already have a basketball coach. 2) Jeff Walz has told us he would retire or be fired from Louisville but would not leave any other way. He echoed those sentiments today when asked about it:

That’s all I need to hear. How about we try something new in Louisville. Let’s verify that the people who are being targeted from Louisville to take other jobs actually want them before we mention it. CardNation has been through enough lately!
